My favorite Montrose area coffee shop is definitely Agora Coffee House in Montrose. It is on Westheimer in the heart of Montrose.
Some reasons I love Agora Coffee House so much:
1) The ambiance- Old art adorns the walls. Mismatched lamps, tables, and chairs are everywhere.
2) Free Wifi.
3) Cheap coffee and iced coffee refills.
4) Candles lit even during the day sometimes.
5) A unique, hidden upstairs.
6) Nice, clean, good smelling restrooms.
7) Finally, the place is super ACCEPTING. I have seen gay people, straight, men, women, people of all races, and students.
